  DCSI History
In 1991 Drouin Computer Services opened it doors in the top end of Drouin, retailing new computer systems and offering service and support to local homes and businesses. The shop then moved to Suite 3 / 22-26 Princes Way in Drouin.

After moving to a larger premises at 71 Victoria St Warragul in 1995, it was decided to begin offering a local Internet service. At the time, the only Internet Service Providers were a long distance phone call away.

On Friday, December 1, 1995, Drouin Computer Services was allocated it's first group of network addresses on the Internet. The domain name dcscomp.com.au was registered, and the Internet revolution kicked off in West Gippsland. The servers consisted of 2 Apple Mac machines which controlled everything for DCSI.

Over a short period our network reach expanded to South Gippsland and Melbourne. Our services expanded to include web hosting and broadband.

As the demand for Internet-related services grew, DCS Internet split from the computer business, gathered a team of employees dedicated to specialising in the Internet and became known as DCSI.

In December 3rd, 2003, along with Leading Edge Computers, we moved to 28 Smith St in Warragul. DCSI and Leading Edge lived in the same building (it was rather cramped!) During this time, DCSI bought the SYM-PAC Internet business from SYM-PAC Computing and merged the two together.

In June 2004, DCSI moved to it's current location at 64 Queen St, although our servers are still located in Smith St.

And as always we're still locally owned and operated, based in Warragul with a small knowledgeable team.
